Last updated: July 2026. AuraStride is a location-based mobile game operated by an independent developer ("we").
Location (GPS) — used while the app is open to place you on the game map, detect arenas and let you collect nearby rewards. Your precise position is sent to our server only as part of your presence heartbeat. It is shown to other players ONLY if they are your mutual friend AND you enabled "share position with friends" (off by default). We do not keep a history of your movements.
Physical activity (step counter) — read on your device to power step-based rewards. Step counts stay on your device; only a daily total may be attached to gameplay stats.
Game account data — a random player id, your chosen hero name, class, level, power, ranked points and in-game currency totals are stored on our server to run online features (friends, duels, leaderboards) and to detect cheating.
No selling of data. No advertising identifiers are collected today. No contacts, camera, microphone or files access. Accounts are anonymous — no email or real name is required.
Server data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and all server data, contact us with your player id (Settings shows it) at the address below, or use "Reset account" in the game's settings to wipe local data.
The game is intended for players 13 and older.
Future updates may add advertising (Google AdMob) and in-app purchases (Google Play Billing); this policy will be updated before those launch.
